ACNE: SEVEN REMEDIES FOR SMOOTHER SKIN

As you wipe the bathroom mirror after taking a bath, you find yourself face-to-face with a huge circle on your forehead. Seriously, it's not a good way to start your day.



So now, what's the cause of pimples?  Here are some things I have learned from my colleagues, friends, magazine, internet and books: Chocolates? I love chocolates. Who doesn't? CHOCOLATES DON’T CAUSE ACNE. Actually chocolates help our skin to be smoother. It has a lot of antioxidants. Don't be fooled. Chocolate is one of the best things ever made. SEX, too much of it nor lack of it, doesn't cause acne also. According to an article, it is the best exercise for adults. So, what does? HEREDITY! Many articles and studies say that ACNE IS HEREDITARY. It tends to run in families. It's like a defect on your pores. STRESS, SUN EXPOSURE, CLIMATE CHANGES, HYGIENE can aggravate acne. Then again, don't blame your parents instead read the following, these could help!

NO TO DRY SKIN.

Having a desert on your face is not healthy. This is one indicator that your face is in the state of calamity. Pimples will more likely enjoy this. Drink a lot of water.

MAKE UP


Most adult women use make ups. They tend to believe that make up could be this best solution for pimples. Hiding it from your heavy make ups can make it worse. Well if you can't avoid using make up, just avoid OIL BASED MAKE UP that has a derivative of fatty acids that are more potent than your own fatty acids that can cause breakouts.

Wash your make up off thoroughly every night. You can use whatever product you think your skin is comfortable with.

You know girls, It is better if you go for natural look. The less make up, the better.


BE KEEN CONSUMER.


When you want to buy a product for your skin always see to it that it has less or as much as possible it doesn't contain lanolins, isopropyl myristate, sodium lauryl sulfate, laureth-4, and D& C dyes. These substances are like oil.

BE CAREFUL OF YOUR IODINE CONSUMPTION

Some doctors believe that Iodine could cause pimples. It enters our body and mixes to our bloodstream and the excess which is excreted through the oil glands may irritate our pores and can cause acne. To help you out if you believe in this, you could adjust your diet with this table.

THE MAGIC PILL

According yo some research some birth control pills can cause pimples. Ovral, Loestrin, Norlestrin and Norinyl are some of these. If you are using these, you can ask your doctor if he could give another pill or another birth control method.


HANDS OFF AND ATTACK!


Don't ever think of squeezing your pimples. It is an infection that could inflame other pores but if your pimple is the one which has a little yellow pus head on it, gently squeeze it and once the pus is out, the pimple will heal more quickly.


CALL THE DOCTOR VERY QUICK.


If you can't control your acne, your doctor may help. Well, they had been studying it for years but be sure your doctor has a licensed. If you are putting any medicine or any acne treatments, consider the sun as one of your greatest enemy. Some medicines may have unlikely reaction to the infrared of the sun.
